The Triumvirate is organized by the NAFI, a non-profit organization devoted to developing North American dialogue and networks. Created in 2002, NAFI aims to build awareness on the issues raised by North American integration and to focus the attention of decision-makers on the importance of the challenges at hand.

The NAFI is unique in its approach in that we consider at the same time topics of an economic and commercial nature, as well as environmental and social matters. The NAFI promotes multisectorial and trilateral reunions bringing together political, private, labor-union and university circles. The idea is to reinforce the dialogue between the actors concerned by North American integration.

The Board of directors of NAFI is composed of important political and academic figures from all three North-American countries. The Triumvirate is not associated to any political party or movement and does not endorse any political ideology in particular.

The Triumvirate is an original idea of the NAFI. Its organization is thus assumed by the NAFI: planning, search for partners, logistics, recruitment of the participants, coordination of the contents, etc.
