Founded in September 2000, the Office Québec-Amériques pour la jeunesse (OQAJ) was mandated by the provincial government to develop relationships between the young people of Québec and other youth throughout the Americas. By establishing overseas training activities, the OQAJ seeks to promote cross-cultural understanding and to facilitate the creation of cooperative networks.

EDC provides the support exporters need to succeed in their chosen markets, complementing the programs and services of commercial banks. We provide export credit insurance to protect against uncontrollable events such as a buyer refusing to pay. This insurance is often used by Canadian companies to acquire working capital from their banks—because the bank is confident the exporter will collect payment from either the buyer or EDC. |
